Beckn Community Drives Innovation in Green Energy with UEI Demo
Members of the community — Pulse Energy, Sheru, Kazam, and Turno — joined hands for a landmark demo to showcase innovative energy use cases on Unified Energy Interface (UEI). ⚡🌐
Hosted at Pulse Energy’s office, the demo brought to life several use cases such as seamless EV charging via any app, powering EVs with green energy, and monetizing idle batteries. This demo illustrated a win-win scenario for all participants, including local energy companies who can leverage the UEI and Beckn to contribute to green energy initiatives.🔋 Watch the demo here👇

Excitingly, on February 28, a whitepaper from the Department of Science and Technology on E-Mobility acknowledged the potential of UEI and recommended Beckn as an interoperability protocol for EV charging networks. 🌱

Making Integrated Bus Commutes a Reality 🚍
On January 22, a transformative pilot reshaped bus ticket booking through collaborative efforts by Amnex Infotechnologies, OpenTurf Technologies, and Nashik City Bus Operator, Citilinc. Using Beckn Protocol, public buses seamlessly integrate with third-party commuter apps, allowing travellers to effortlessly book tickets across platforms without individual integrations between the service providers.
